Thanks, Beth, for another fine episode. It is so heartening to hear young, knowledgeable people like Nicolas advocating for progress beyond $. Just when I begin to feel overwhelmed by all the avarice in the world, someone like you and Nicolas come along and restore my hope.
Great episode Beth! Sister Diane and I tromped the 46 acre Rowley fen today, amazed at the biodiversity. it's big enough to isolate yourself from the surroundibg cornfields & feel you're in another world. Subtle enough to make you search & ponder riddles you can only imagine if you're being one with the natural outdoors...
"The prairie agenda" I like that. I believe in working on a small scale to help others see what you can do with prairies. My backyard is becoming more and more just regionally native plants. Anyone with a yard can do this. Then I'd like to see farmers create riparian zones along rivers and creeks (we call them "cricks") to help filter the runoff. What a great podcast and nice to hear a young person so interested in prairies.

Thanks for listening and for caring!
Your sturdy voice is inspiring. The thoughts behind them are likewise. Thank you.
