Another great episode, Beth. You also talk about value-added and farm-adjacent initiatives in your book, "Bet the Farm: The Dollars and Sense of Growing Food in America," and your experiences. I enjoyed listening and learning about the farmers featured here and how they've made this lucrative. I will be trying their products!

Thank you Beth for this insight. Adding value is so critical for one to be able to produce food.

We are in such a fix in our country because others aka corporations extract our raw materials and ship them around the world adding to the environmental degradation of our earth.
